HUMANCULTURE RELATIONSHIP AND INDIGENOUS LEADERSHIP CONTEXT

Humanculture has worked in partnership with Chorotega communities in western Nicaragua since 2024.

Chorotega leadership participates in Humanculture’s governance structure through the leadership of master practitioner Señor Valentín López, who serves as Humanculture’s regional director for Central America, connecting the broader governance structures of the Chorotega community, including the elder council and board of directors.

These relationships lead the documentation and interpretation of Chorotega knowledge systems presented by Humanculture through the Indigenous Systems platform.
